Cool

I got the Cherie and friends Unplugged in Hollywood 1996 cd in the mail today. I want to say to whomever handles the merchandise end of things, you rock. I ordered something through PayPal once for an artist whose name I won't reveal, and it took over a month, and that was after I called Paypal. This was a prompt less than a week order.

Peace out and rocking to the music

Actually, I do have a question about the CDs offered on the site. Are they actually pressed CDs (like the kind you'd buy from an artist at, say, Tower Records) or are they burned duplicates? I'm very intrigued by the "80s Collection" CD. (Love the permed hair!)

    Let me know.

They are fan club pressings. They are burned CDRs that we do in small quantities just for you guys. They are burned on professional duping machines, (not by computer), so they play on all machines. The packaging is very spare, only a cover and tray card in the jewel case, no booklet or anything.

The 80's Collection is my favorite. Be aware that the recording quality is inconsistant...some of the tracks were rescued from old cassettes that Cherie had at home...they were the only existing copies of the recordings!

The 'Taste' CD is a compilation that we send out for Cherie as an audio resume. It wasn't intended for sale but so many people asked that we decided to share it with her fans.

The Unplugged CD is not edited at all. The whole hour plays exactly as the event occurred, so you can hear Cherie talking to her friends and such between songs. It's interesting in that respect but it takes a bit of fast forwarding if you just want to listen to the songs. There's several excellent performances on there. Billy Mumy (Will Robinson from Lost in Space) does 2 songs with Cherie I really like. That's the highlight for me personally.

Probably way more info than you needed, lol! Hope that answered your questions though!
